Study on Electromagnetic Safety Performance of Vehicle Discharging System

The electric vehicle (EV) is equipped with a large-capacity electric energy storage device. When the EV has discharging function, the vehicle can be regarded as a mobile energy storage power source. Vehicles with external discharging function, which can provide electrical energy for home or emergency rescue loads, which can be divided as V2L (Vehicle to load), V2V(vehicle to vehicle), V2G(vehicle to grid)namely V2L. At present, the relevant standards for the discharging interface safety requirements are stipulated, but there is no electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or electromagnetic field (EMF) requirements. This paper focuses on these two aspects” by analyzing the radiation frequency (RF) conduction emission (CE) and EMF performance of the vehicle to study the electromagnetic safety of vehicle discharging conditions. The results show that the RF CE test results of the vehicle obviously exceed the limit requirements of the charging condition, and the EMC radiation value in the working band is higher.
