Analysis and Design of the IPT System with High Misalignment Tolerance Based on BP Coil

Wireless power transfer technology does not require direct connection to transmit energy through electromagnetic field coupling, and has the characteristics of convenience, flexibility, high safety and reliability, and resistance to mechanical wear. In wireless power transfer system, the relative position deviation of the primary and secondary edges can cause drastic changes in magnetic parameters, causing system imbalance. And for magnetic coupling devices, there are parasitic capacitors in the upper and lower layers of each turn of the multi-layer coils, and the voltage difference between layers is significant, which is a significant factor affecting system efficiency and transmission of reactive power. To address the above issues, this article selects BP coils with high coupling and strong misalignment-tolerant characteristics, as well as LCC/S compensation topologies; Reducing interlayer voltage difference through layered compensation and improving system efficiency; Parallel capacitors are connected in front of the rectifier bridge to eliminate the problem of excessive voltage and current phase difference when the load increases.
