Multi-Time Scale Low-Carbon Economic Scheduling of Electric-Hydrogen Coupled Integrated Energy System

With the continuous advancement of China's carbon neutrality goal, low-carbon electricity will promote the development of a low-carbon economy in China. This paper proposes a multi-time scale low-carbon economic scheduling model of electric-hydrogen coupled integrated energy systems (EH-IESs). Firstly, the carbon trading mechanism is introduced to control the system's carbon emissions. Secondly, the operation strategy of hydrogen production, storage, usage, and the equipment with adjustable thermoelectric ratios are introduced to improve the energy utilization efficiency and low carbon levels. Finally, the spinning reserve market is considered to enhance the benefits of EH-IES. The simulation results show that the proposed multi-time scale low-carbon economic scheduling model of EH-IES can effectively reduce carbon emission and improve system economy, energy utilization efficiency, and renewable energy absorption capacity.
