Multiple Hybrid Load-Independent Outputs in Modular Reconfigurable Wireless Power Transfer System

This paper proposes a modular reconfigurable wireless power transfer (WPT) system with multiple hybrid load-independent outputs. The proposed system consists of a power module and several load modules in cascade. The introduction of a reconfigurable structure allows the loads to achieve constant voltage (CV) output or constant current (CC) output independently, while the system achieve zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) and high efficiency. Various decoupling methods are utilized to integrate the compensation inductors into the couplers. An experiment platform is constructed to verify the system viability. The output has the capability to achieve a CV output of around 20 V or a CC output of around 0.4 A, with a maximum variation rate of 4.64%. The power output can reach a maximum of 28.14 W, while the efficiency exceeds 97%.
