Research on Fault Diagnosis Method of Automobile Engine Based on GA-BP Algorithm

The distortion of secondary voltage waveform of automotive engine ignition system can reflect the fault information of different parts of the engine. At present, digital multimeter, automotive ignition oscilloscope and other manual diagnosis methods are usually used to analyze voltage waveform to judge the fault, which requires high technical knowledge and experience. This paper proposes an artificial intelligence diagnosis method based on GA-BP algorithm. In this paper, the secondary ignition voltage waveform is deeply analyzed and the key parameters reflected in the fault information are extracted as the input of GA-BP fault diagnosis model. The fault diagnosis model based on GA-BP algorithm is used for pattern recognition in order to locate the fault positions. This paper takes the Honda Accord engine failure as an example, the GA-BP fault diagnosis model is used for MATLAB simulation analysis. The simulation results show that the fault diagnosis method based on the GA-BP model can intelligently identify the engine ignition system failure efficiently and accurately.
