Feasibility Study on the Application of Semiconductor Refrigeration Technology in Local Heat Dissipation

Traditional cooling methods are difficult to solve the local heat dissipation of motor. Semiconductor refrigeration technology based on the thermoelectric effect has significant advantages on this issue. In this study, an experimental platform for local heat dissipation based on semiconductor refrigeration technology was constructed. An electric heating device was used as a heat source to simulate local heating. The heat dissipation performance of three different models of semiconductor refrigeration chips was studied through experiments under constant heat source. And the results indicate that semiconductor refrigeration technology exhibits good heat dissipation performance for local heat resource. So it can be applied to solve the problem of local heat dissipation in motor.
