Design and Simulation Analysis of Power Supply System for Deep Space Exploration Electric Propulsion

At present, the power supply system of applied electric propulsion deep space exploration mission is faced with the problem of wide power range and voltage range adaptation, it is difficult to combine the characteristics of electric propulsion and power system to carry out joint research. On the basis of the analysis of the power system architecture of electric propulsion deep space probes, the reference and significance of the design of the power sub-system of electric propulsion deep space probes is discussed in this paper. In view of the characteristics of light weight, multi-thruster backup and high degree of autonomy for subsequent deep space exploration missions, the topological architecture of the power supply system suitable for deep space exploration missions is designed to solve the maximum power dynamic tracking problem of wide power (0-10kW) and voltage range (80-120V). The power supply system model is established by Saber, and three typical working models of deep space exploration are simulated and analyzed. The results show that the topology architecture is feasible. This study can be used as the basis for further research on wide voltage and wide power range power supply system.
