Analysis and Optimization of Cooperative Jammer for Spatial Electromagnetic Spectrum Holes

Access to the electromagnetic spectrum is a critical requirement for victory in modern electronic warfare. This paper proposes a method for generating electromagnetic spectrum holes in a specific area of the battlefield based on cooperative interference technology. It suppresses the electromagnetic spectrum of the enemy radio equipment and guarantees our normal communication in the area of spectrum holes. Four factors of jamming signals that affect the depth, diameter, and sensitivity of the spectrum holes are analyzed. For two cooperative jammers with a fixed position, we optimize their transmitting parameters and compute the distribution of the spectrum holes.
