Attitude Dynamics of a Composite Nanosatellite with a Gravitational Damper and with a Movable Unit on a Rail System

The article deals with the dynamics of orientation of a composite nanosatellite with a gravity damper and one movable unit on a rail system. The rail system provides linear displacement of the movable unit relative to the main body of the nanosatellite. Due to this linear displacement and dissipation of the gravity damper, the satellite transitions to a gravitationally stable position in a circular orbit. In the article a mathematical model is constructed and numerical simulation of the rotational motion is carried out.
