Dental Anomalies Detection Based on the Analysis of Reconstructed Intraoral Scan Images

A method for automated detecting dental system anomalies by identifying the dentition areas and comparing patterns on the reconstructed medical data of oral objects' models is proposed. The algorithm includes the stages of segmentation and identification of dentition areas using computer vision methods and is a unified method that that does not depend on the scanner model.
