Application of Relative Alpha Variability and Alpha-Delta Ratio in the Early Diagnosis of Delayed Cerebral Ischemia After Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

An algorithm for automatic detection of delayed cerebral ischemia after subarachnoid hemorrhage in data from long-term electroencephalographic monitoring of patients is proposed and described. The algorithm is based on the analysis of electroencephalographic features of delayed cerebral ischemia, such as a decrease in relative alpha variability and the decrease in the alpha-delta ratio. The proposed algorithm provides possibility to detect features of delayed cerebral ischemia in monitoring mode.
