Perovskite solar cells are a competitive and fascinating option in the photovoltaic industry. The impact of varying thicknesses on device performance has been studied. SCAPS-ID tool is used to simulate the device performance. The proposed device structure contains several layers
$\text{TCO}/\text{TiO}_{2} /\text{CH}_{3}\text{NH}_{3}\text{PbI}_{3}/\text{Spiro}$
OMeTAD. The
$\text{CR}_{3}\text{NH}_{3}\text{PbI}_{3}$
absorber layer's thickness is varied in this investigation between 40 to 600 nm in 9 steps. The buffer layer is methylammonium lead iodide
$(\text{CH}_{3}\text{NH}_{3}\text{PbI}_{3})$
, is essential to PSCs' capacity to transform light into energy. Because of its strong absorption coefficient across a broad wavelength, excellent charge transfer capabilities, and variable bandgap, it is the perfect material for efficient power conversion. After making this modification, the device reaches its peak performance at 600 nm, producing higher PV characteristics such as 89% ~ FF, 27% ~ PCE,
$22\text{mA}/\text{cm}^{2}\sim$
-Jsc, and 1.38 V ~ Voc. These results might improve overall device performance and provide direction for future research and development of unique PV devices.
