Aero-engine Survivability Analysis Based on Proportional Hazards Model and LSTM Network

The survival state of an aero-engine is crucial for the safety and reliability of equipment, especially in high-reliability fields such as aviation and aerospace. This article comprehensively analyzes the survival status of engines based on the proportional hazards model. Firstly, feature extraction is performed on the original data, and proportional hazards model is established to calculate the survival rate of aero-engines at different time points. Then, the established model is tested for compliance with the proportional hazards assumption. The survival rate is used as the input for an LSTM network to track the degradation trend of aero-engines and predict their remaining service life. Finally, the C-MAPSS engine dataset is used to validate and analyze the effectiveness of the model.
