Design of a Weak Photocurrent Signal Processing Circuit based on SIPM Detector

Silicon photomultiplier (SIPM) devices, as classical semiconductor photoelectric conversion devices, are widely used in biomedical imaging due to the excellent characteristics of the devices. In this paper, for the weak current pulse signal generated by the SIPM detector, combined with the pulse characteristics of the current signal, a current signal processing circuit is designed to convert the SIPM current pulse signal into a digital signal by using the linear time-over-threshold (ToT) technique, which is capable of responding rapidly to changes in current pulse signals and has lower power consumption and higher transmission accuracy.
