Simulation Analysis of Three-Tank Water Tank Level Control System Based on Improved PSO-Fuzzy PID

PID controller is often used in the liquid level control of three-tank water tank, which has some problems such as large overshoot, low precision and slow response speed. Therefore, a fuzzy PID controller based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) is designed in this paper. By analyzing the structure and principle of the three-tank, the system model of the three-tank is built, and the model is built on the MATLAB platform. The control parameters of the fuzzy PID are optimized by the improved PSO, and the simulation experiment is carried out. The experiment shows that the overshoot of the control system is significantly reduced, and the response speed and control accuracy are significantly improved compared with the ordinary PID control and fuzzy PID control.
