Automatic Generation of ZigBee Mesh Network Topology Diagram

In smart home systems [1], wireless sensor networks typically need to be based on the ZigBee Mesh network topology diagram perform maintenance. Due to the large number of devices in the smart home system and the global distribution of users, it is strenous to obtain the network topology through packet capturing and analysis. To address this issue, we have proposed an automatic generation method of ZigBee Mesh network topology diagram. This method utilizes the routing table information and next hop device information of the devices in the network, and leverages an Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) platform to calculate the network topology and dynamically generate it. Test results demonstrate that this method can automatically generate accurate ZigBee Mesh network topologies, which can be continuously updated in real-time. It enables efficient and accurate network maintenance in smart home systems.
