16-bit Vedic multiplier Using Carry Skip Adder

Inspired by the effective calculation techniques found in ancient Indian Vedic mathematics., this project implements a 16-bit Vedic multiplier. The main goal is to enhance the Vedic multiplier performance by integrating it with a Carry Skip Adder (CSKA)., which is renowned for its ability to expedite binary addition by skipping over blocks that do not require carry-in processing. This integration aims to leverage the CSKA's potential to reduce carry propagation time significantly., thus optimizing the overall multiplication process. A Carry Select Adder (CSA)., which computes the sum and carry values for both possible inputs beforehand., is compared. This comparison focuses on evaluating the two systems' performance based on critical metrics such as computational speed., silicon area requirement., and power consumption. Through systematic design., simulation., and analysis using tools like VHDL/Verilog and Xilinx or ModelSim for circuit implementation., and Cadence or Synopsys for performance estimation., this project aims to ascertain the most efficient combination of Vedic multiplication technique with advanced adder designs. This research is expected to provide important new information about improving digital multiplication techniques. It promotes the integration of mathematical concepts from antiquity with modern digital electronics to improve speed., minimize area usage., and lower power consumption.
