A Review on Ransomware Detection in Android Using Feature Selection and Machine Learning

In recent years, ransomware has emerged as a serious concern in android devices, disrupting users from accessing their data and extorting payments for restoration. However, it has been found that these attacks can be avoided if detected in early stages. Literature reveals that its early detection can be achieved via optimized feature selection and machine learning techniques. Thus, this paper systematically examines the research that has already been done to identify ransomware in android devices using feature selection and machine learning till date.
