Identifying sleep monitoring values of the Murata SCA11H based on the Withings-sleep sensor

With the increase of population age in recent years personal health has become an ever-growing concern and good sleep quality is one of three major pillars for good healthcare along with diet and exercise. Recent works have started to introduce the use of ballistocardiography as cheap and non-intrusive method for sleep monitoring. So, in this work, we aim to extrapolate relevant information, such as bed occupancy and sleep stages, from the data provided by a ballistocardiography measurement. In paricular, we want to extrapolate relevant information from a ballistocardiography sensor data and use a “sleep sensor” as a reference to evaluate information quality.
