Digitalization and Automation of Teller/Counter Services Using Embedded Self-Service Digital Devices

The possibilities and methods of digitization and automation of operations in the teller/counter halls of banks and other organizations and institutions that use such a method of operation and services are considered and described in the paper. It is proposed that adequately designed and implemented embedded digital devices are used for the business digitalization and automation. A embedded self-service sitting teller/counter device (Sitting Digital Teller Device-SDTD) was designed and implemented for such needs. The paper proposes and describes a practical implementation of a seated self-service teller/counter device and a way to gradually digitalize and automate bank branches and other similar counter halls. The method of such automation, the reasons and advantages of its application, as well as possible problems that may arise from are described in this paper. The proposed device is universal, modular and easy to use. The proposed method of automation is relatively simple, modular and adaptable for different areas of teller/counter processes, and brings many advantages and benefits for teller/counter operations.
