Vector Control of a Dual-Feed Brushless Induction Generator Based on a Dual-Rotor Wind Turbine System

This paper presents modeling and vector doubly fedinrator (DFIG) integrated in wind energy system. We'll introduce flux vector control, which offers an attractive solution for achieving better performance in variable-speed applications in the case of brushless double-fed induction machines in both generator and motor modes. In this sense, we propose a control law for the BDFM based on the stator flux orientation of the power winding used to operate it in generator mode. The BDFM reveals the relation between the stator magnitudes of the power winding and the magnitudes of the control winding. These relations are used to influence the control winding signals to control the exchange of active and reactive power between the power winding and the grid. The performance of the system are tested and compared by simulation.
