Design and Realization of a CAN/CANFD USB Gateway, Application to the Connected Car

The automotive industry has evolved with the introduction of advanced technologies and new communication protocols, notably the CAN. However, the increasing complexity of embedded systems and the introduction of new sensors have raised the demand for bandwidth and communication flexibility, leading to the emergence of CAN-FD. This evolution renders some analyzers obsolete. Our aim is to provide a versatile solution by combining a CAN/USB gateway with an analyzer, enabling the reception, analysis, and diagnosis of CAN and CAN-FD signals. Additionally, it features a user-friendly USB interface for computer connection, along with advanced debugging and diagnostic functionalities.
