Ensuring safety is as vital on roads as it is in any workplace. The primary causes of fatalities in these accidents are attributed to instances of drunken driving, reckless driving, and fatigue induced by prolonged journeys. To address these concerns, the objective is to develop an innovative smart helmet capable of preventing accidents and identifying accident-prone areas. This smart helmet will leverage various sensors for functionality. Alcohol sensors will be utilized to detect any alcohol consumption by the rider, while an infrared sensor will be employed to verify if the rider is wearing a helmet. Additionally, a buzzer will be integrated into the helmet to detect harsh impacts during accidents. In the event of a slide due to road rash, GPS technology will be utilized to pinpoint the accident location, and this information will be promptly relayed to emergency contacts via GSM for swift assistance.
