A Gauging of Software Trustworthiness through the Grey Correlation Methodology

This paper is aimed at providing new empirical evidence on software credibility measurement in software engineering , a topic of great interest in the academic literature. The study develops measurement of software trustworthiness by means of employing the grey correlation approach and this technique conducts a computation of the weight of every indicator via trapezoidal fuzzy number. The study figures out the positive and negative ideal value concerning each indicator of trustworthiness, thus finding the grey correlation extent for the index value and the ideal value. On this footing, the study performs an estimation of the value for software reliability and the empirical results display that the proposed technique turns out to be valid , robust and accurate. Therefore, this method can be applied into probing into related-topics on software trustworthiness.
