Adaptive Monitoring of Free Space Optical Networks Utilizing Artificial Neuron Analysis

This research study analyses the optical networks in free space, focusing on the working principles of a new adaptive monitoring topology. It explores Artificial Neuron Analysis within this context and investigates the utilization of overhead optical control devices for tasks such as transmission, reception, channel management, routing, and switching of optical signals across local and free space networks. The study includes an analysis of the artificial neuron within the proposed monitoring system. Furthermore, using the Neural Net Fitting toolbox in Matlab, regression lines for optical wavelengths were generated for a monitoring device featuring 120 inputs and outputs. Additionally, graphs depicting the error between obtained and actual results were constructed for further examination.
