Analysis of measurement errors caused by incorrect wiring of secondary taps in current transformers

An error in the connection of a secondary tap of a current transformer caused a significant imbalance in the current of the two components of a three-phase three-wire smart meter for a 35kV dedicated line user, resulting in abnormal metering. The reference method and correction coefficient method were used to calculate the compensatory electricity consumption during the incorrect connection of the secondary tap of the current transformer. Meanwhile, detailed and reliable preventive measures were proposed to effectively avoid the impact of incorrect wiring of the secondary tap of the current transformer on metering, thereby reducing risks such as electricity errors.
