Comparative Analysis of the Performance of Laser Point Cloud Transmission Line Segmentation Methods

To explore the applicability and effectiveness of laser point cloud segmentation methods for transmission lines. This paper takes the laser point cloud data of the 110 KV high-voltage transmission line from Chenggong to Chengjiang (Chenggong Chengjiang) in Chenggong District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province as the research data, adopts the research method of comparative analysis, evaluates the segmentation efficiency through qualitative analysis, and discusses the performance and applicability of three segmentation methods: three-dimensional point cloud K-means clustering method, two-dimensional model residual density clustering method, and connectivity analysis method. The experimental results show that the two-dimensional residual density clustering algorithm has strong adaptability in various environments, and can better adapt to the complex environment of transmission line inspection in reality.
