The Effect of Interior Elements on The Perception of Privacy of Boarding House Users with The Virtual Reality 360 Method

This study was conducted to determine the influential factors in the relationship between the elements forming the interior of the boarding house, and the status of the privacy perception of the occupants of the space in the boarding house interior associated with privacy. Knowledge of the importance of the relationship between boarding house users and the privacy perception factor is the most basic thing in the interior. The main purpose of this research is about the privacy perception factor, namely privacy, which will be combined with virtual reality 360 to facilitate the analysis process. This research will be divided into two groups. The first is to identify the factors that form the interior elements of the boarding house that already exist in the existing. The second is to know about the consideration of boarding house interior forming elements to realize the privacy perception conditions used to help boarders and interior designers choose and implement boarding house interior designs, which are well-aligned between the interior and the privacy perception status of the occupants and space users. This research is expected to find out about the elements that make up the interior of the boarding house that can support privacy used in boarding houses because the relationship between the elements that make up the interior of the boarding house, boarders and privacy is a very important thing that can affect the privacy perception factor of boarding house users. This research is important because of the many needs of students who live in boarding houses and spend almost all their activities in the boarding room.
