Wearable Stress Monitoring Band using Context Aware Sensor Fusion Technology

Stress from various sources, including daily routines, social interactions, and even genetics, can harm mental health, especially for adolescents who face unique challenges during their development. This band aims to be a proactive tool for the early detection and improvement of mental health. Studies show that monitoring heart rate, skin conductivity, and physical state can help assess stress levels. The band uses this information to give users a comprehensive picture of their mental state and real-time data for personalized stress management. This empowers individuals to make informed lifestyle changes and seek help if needed. The project envisions this band as part of a holistic approach to promoting mental health awareness and proactive measures, building a healthier and more resilient community, especially among adolescents. The WESAD dataset (from a lab study) is used as a case study to develop this project.
