Design of fire water supply pipeline pressure monitoring system based on LoRa

Fire water municipal water supply pipes are mostly underground and have few pressure detection nodes. When pipe leakage causes water pressure drop, it is difficult to quickly locate the leakage point, which makes maintenance difficult. Aiming at the problems of long pipe length, severe underground signal shielding, and difficult data transmission, a LoRa-based underground pipe pressure monitoring system is designed to establish a highly penetrating and highly stable data transmission link to meet the requirements of quick and efficient leakage point finding. The system uses resistive pressure sensors, MSP430 embedded controllers, and SX1262 wireless communication modules to build a collection terminal and a Mesh network receiving end to monitor the pressure of the underground pipe network in real time, so as to achieve early detection, early positioning, and early maintenance. Through the application test in the underground parking lot, the test results show that: LoRa transmission can realize pressure data acquisition and transmission under multiple building shielding, the receiving end coverage can reach 700 meters, and the packet loss rate is less than 4%; the node power consumption is low, the system working voltage is 3.3V, and the AD reference voltage is 2.5V; It can effectively solve the problem of difficult data transmission of underground pipeline pressure monitoring.
