Research on Key Technologies for Skyhook Recovery of Ship-Borne UAVs

Recovering small ship-borne fixed-wing UAVs presents a significant challenge in their deployment on warships. Initially, this paper analyzes the fundamental processes and key technologies of the Skyhook recovery landing mode; subsequently, it delves into the critical technology of deck motion prediction and proposes a deck situation prediction method using an improved SVM; ultimately, simulation results demonstrate that the accuracy of this method satisfies the UAV recovery index requirements. This research serves as a valuable reference for the engineering implementation of fixed-wing UAV landing recovery systems.
