Analysis of Target Positioning Error of EO Aiming Device of UCAV

The Unmanned Combat Aircraft Vehicle (UCAV) is more and more widely used in actual combat. The autonomous and accurate positioning of the target by the Electro-Optical (EO) aiming device has become the premise and important guarantee for killing the target, and also an important evaluation index for the UCAV system. Firstly, by analyzing the composition, principle and positioning process of the EO aiming device of UCAV, the mathematical model of target positioning is established. Secondly, Monte Carlo method is used to establish the error model to find the source of target positioning error, and the influence law of each factor on the target positioning accuracy is determined by simulation test. Finally, according to the simulation results, the effective measures to ensure the target positioning accuracy are put forward.
