The Method of Background Replacement for Single Image

The background replacement is a significant research problem in digital image processing. This paper proposed a method of background replacement for a single image. The method used image depth information to divide foreground and background regions. The segmentation module segmented the foreground area with a complete outline. The information corresponding to the foreground region is removed from original image of new background, and the background replacement module is used to fuse the foreground with new background. This method can realize the smooth background replacement of a single image. The foreground area is preserved intact, and the background area is replaced naturally.
