Research on pure azimuth positioning algorithm based on underwater detection array

Based on the two-dimensional azimuth information received by the underwater detection array, a multi-array passive sonar positioning model for underwater target localization is established, and two positioning algorithms are deduced according to the characteristics of the model, and the expression of positioning error is given. The influence of the two-dimensional azimuth error and the error size of different receiving stations on the two algorithms was studied by computational simulation, and the two algorithms were compared and analyzed in the whole positioning area. The simulation results show the feasibility of the two algorithms; In general, the positioning effect of the QWLS algorithm is better in the whole positioning range, but the error of the TWLS algorithm is smaller in some local areas, and the TWLS algorithm can be used as a supplement to the QWLS algorithm. This study can provide an analytical method for the estimation of positioning error of underwater passive sonar detection arrays, and at the same time, it can lay a foundation for the research on underwater target positioning of passive sonar detection arrays with different configuration types, which has certain practical application value.
