Analysis of the impact of large hangars on the signal quality of LOC

The localizer(LOC) is a component of the instrument landing system(ILS), which works in conjunction with the onboard receiver to provide heading guidance information for approaching and landing aircraft. The operating frequency range is 108.1 to 111.95MHz. To ensure the accuracy of the spatial radiation signal of the LOC, GB6364-2013 " Electromagnetic environment requirements for aeronautical radio navigation stations " specifies the site protection area of the LOC, The MH/T4003.1 " Specification for aeronautical communication navigation and surveillance station siting criteria-Part1:Navigation " released in 2021 has added restrictions on building restricted areas and operational protection areas. On the basis of computer simulation modeling, this paper conducts simulation analysis on the impact of large hangars around the runway on the LOC signal.
