Design of an audio acquisition and processing system

Speech signals are inevitably mixed with noise during encoding and transmission, potentially degrading the speech quality at the receiving end. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt certain methods to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of transmitted speech for improved speech quality. Speech enhancement techniques are often used to process noisy speech signals to mitigate the impact of noise. Most speech enhancement algorithms use the same processing methods to mitigate various types of noise and reduce complexity. However, in real life, the noise characteristics of various scenarios are complex, and it is difficult to effectively suppress all noise in a single method.This paper presents the design of an audio acquisition and playback system, implementing audio recording and playback through hardware production and software programming. In order to solve the problem of audio noise processing in the system, the paper opted for a speech enhancement algorithm based on neural network noise classification. The algorithm was then employed to execute a series of processing steps, including preprocessing, feature extraction, noise classification, and speech enhancement of the speech signal. After being compared with the original audio signal, the algorithm effectively removes the noise interference and improves the quality and intelligibility of the speech signal. The research results of this paper provide a useful reference for the practical application of speech enhancement technology, so it has certain practical value.
