Intellect Heading and Control of Smart Street Light Systems by using IoT Techniques

The street lights are currently operated manually, which results in enormous energy waste all over the world and needs to be changed. It examined the smart use of IoT in the development of contemporary street lights. It is essential to develop streetlights for the entire world and solve the energy crisis. In addition to the research on Smart Street lighting systems, different sensors, and components utilized in IoT environments will be analyzed and described. There are three main stages in proposed work, automatic adaptive On and OFF control, and maintenance and electricity consumption prediction stage respectively. A Wi-Fi module, an accelerometer, an ultrasonic sensor, and a Light-dependent sensor (LDR) are used to apply this method. To determine the pole's inclination the accelerometer sensor is used and it will notify the user or control room of an emergency. The street lights are then turned on and off based on the intensity of the atmosphere using the LDR sensor. The ESP8266, which is based on the LDR, could be used to perform this switching. If a vehicle or person is within a predetermined distance of an ultrasonic sensor, the light will glow at full brightness; otherwise, it will dim and only glow at 60% intensity. If no vehicles or trespassers are passing, it prevents power waste at night. By utilizing these three sensors an effective artificial automatic light is developed in efficient way.
