Emergency Evacuation Route Planning for Sudden Accidents in Hazardous Chemical Road Transport

With the continuous development of the chemical industry, there is a persistent growth trend in the demand for hazardous chemicals. However, this growth also brings potential risks of hazardous chemical accidents in road transportation, especially with an increasing probability of explosive incidents. The severity of these accidents is self-evident once they occur. Therefore, this paper aims to provide a set of reference solutions for emergency evacuation route planning in the event of sudden accidents during the transportation of hazardous chemicals. The focus is on identifying optimal refuge locations away from the incident center and ensuring safety, thus minimizing the damage caused by explosive accidents to society, the environment, and individuals. The research focuses on analyzing the selection of safe refuge locations after an accident occurs, providing optimal paths to these locations to avoid harm, and designing multiple alternative emergency evacuation route plans to address potential emergency situations.
