Spatially Correlated SU MIMO-OTSM: Performance Analysis

This study presents a groundbreaking detection strategy for MIMO systems using Orthogonal Time Sequency Multiplexing (OTSM) modulation, tailored to perform optimally even under hardware limitations like carrier frequency offset (CFO). By integrating maximum ratio combining (MRC), the method significantly enhances signal quality by mitigating multipath and inter-antenna interference. Additionally, it features specialized sub-channel estimation techniques to combat CFO and a meticulously designed frame structure to reduce interference and enable efficient parallel processing. This low-complexity detection method dramatically boosts MIMO-OTSM system performance, highlighting its transformative potential for wireless technologies. Results demonstrate that single user (SU) MIMO-OTSM with an MRC detector outperforms traditional detectors in spatially correlated channels.
