Abstract:
Electrical distribution network personnel face a multitude of hazards, including electrical shock, burns, falls, and musculoskeletal injuries. These hazards can lead to serious injuries and even death. Therefore, it is essential to implement effective strategies to improve safety and health in the workplace for electrical distribution network personnel. This paper discusses the critical strategies for enhancing safety, including hazard identification and risk assessment, thorough training and education, emphasis on safe work practices, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and an effective emergency response plan. By implementing these strategies, employers can create a safer and healthier workplace for electrical distribution network personnel, protecting their employees from harm and contributing to reduced costs, improved productivity, and enhanced operational efficiency.
