A decision-making tool for assessing CSR and Logistics performance within a company's supply chain

However, measuring both logistics and CSR performance within a company’s supply chain proves complex. Logistics performance includes delivery time and order accuracy, while CSR encompasses environmental impact, working conditions, and community engagement. Existing evaluation methods may lack precision, focusing on financial aspects and neglecting environmental or social impacts. The evolving business and regulatory environment require new evaluation methods for a comprehensive assessment. The fundamental challenge is designing decision-making tools that integrate logistics and CSR indicators, balancing operational objectives with sustainability imperatives. This paper addresses key questions, including the identification of the most relevant logistics and CSR performance indicators, the development of assessment tool to balance economic goals with sustainability considerations, and strategies to ensure effective implementation resulting in improved logistics performance while upholding CSR commitments.
