Procurement Improvement Process Based on Industry 4.0 & Lean Manufacturing: A Case Study

The procurement can be considered as the most crucial process in supply chain management, it absorbs all requests of customers demand, especially for automotive industry, which know fluctuation in demand every day and every period. But how companies can ensure the raw material with the constraint of supplying? and how the application of industry 4.0 can improve this process? This paper's goal is to investigate an example for an automotive Japanese company, we will first display a short evaluation of the literature regarding SCM; Industry 4.0, RFID… Then we will present a case study for the implementation of supply chain management to Industry 4.0.
