Transition to Supply chain 4.0 based on Risk Management and Inventive Design in a Circular Economy environment: State of the art

Industry 4.0is not just a technological evolution; it's not just more intelligence in components, products or equipment. There's a whole philosophy behind it that's a real threat to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises integrating into this approach. It therefore, the risks attributable to the transition to the supply chain 4.0, becomes important to identify and analyze them. The objective is then to adopt innovative approaches and methods to boost the robustness and capability of the managerial systems, technologies, knowledge, etc. available to Small and Medium Enterprises ’ supply chain (SC), so that they are ready to counter the various obstacles that could impact the transition process. Through this study, we aim to help managers decide to integrate digital transformation by identifying and analyzing the risks involved in the transition to SC 4.0 in a Circular Economy environment.
