Research on Synchronized Power Quality Measurement Method and its Device Development

As the massive installation of distributed renewables in power system, the power quality problems are becoming more and more prominent. The measurement data of traditional power quality monitoring devices do not contain time scales and the phase angle information does not cause concern. Therefore, the obtained disturbance information is not comprehensive enough and cannot be used to accurately trace the disturbance. In this paper, the synchronized measurement methods are proposed for the fundamental frequency parameters and wide-frequency parameters of power quality, and the synchronized measurement device of power quality is developed. For fundamental frequency measurement, an amplitude, phase angle and frequency measurement method based on FIR complex band-pass filter is proposed. For wide-frequency measurement, a harmonic and inter-harmonic parameter measurement method based on modified FFT is proposed. The device test shows that the proposed algorithms meet the requirements of existing standards and has high practicability.
