Using Streaming Telemetry Transport Protocol to Send Time Synchronized Real Time Data at Scale

This paper describes the Streaming Telemetry Transport Protocol (STTP) used for streaming real-time synchronized measurements. The paper provides background on the protocol, and compression algorithms used and describes results obtained from streaming large amounts of synchronized data suing STTP.The focus of this paper is to describe and quantify the performance of STTP when sending large amounts of time synchronized data across networks.
