Enhancing Supply Chain Performance through Production Planning: A Model for Moroccan Aerospace Companies

This article introduces a conceptual model aimed at evaluating the influence of production planning on supply chain logistics performance, specifically within the commercial domain of Moroccan aerospace companies. Through an empirical investigation involving a survey distributed to 41 professionals in aeronautical logistics, purchasing, planning, and related fields, we used latent variable structural modeling with the partial least squares (PLS) approach and XL-STAT software (version 2021). This research paper assesses the reliability and validity of the suggested model, ultimately affirming that production planning significantly impacts supply chain logistics performance. The findings provide insights for potential enhancements and actionable plans for strategic and tactical decision-making within the logistics department.
