Intelligent Ultrafiltration of The Portable Dialysis Machine based on the Internet of Things

This paper presents a special platform for the intelligent ultrafiltration of the portable dialysis machine. Furthermore, the implemented module utilizes various sensors and detectors to monitor and control the performance of ultrafiltration in the portable dialysis machine. In addition, a platform is designed in which many modules can send data based on the Internet of Things. To intelligently control the process of fluid removal by ultrafiltration, detectors such as blood leakage, air bubble detectors, and sensors such as arterial, venous, and transmembrane pressure sensors, blood, and ultrafiltration pumps are used. The implemented module measures the vital parameters of the dialysis patients and sends them to the center. The location of each module is also determined. The proposed intelligent algorithm along with the implemented module as a significant subsystem of the portable dialysis machine, produces the knowledge technology to complete and manufacture this machine in the world.
