Use of the optimization system with a model for optimizing parameters of technological processes

This paper deals with the use of optimization methods in the efficient control of technological processes. It uses the principle of optimization based on simulation models of selected technological processes. This research aims to apply optimization algorithms in this optimization system and design and verify the optimization system of technological variables (parameters). The work describes the optimization of parameters for two technological processes. The first is the optimization of tunnel furnace parameters for the firing of refractory materials, and the second is the optimization of parameters during steel production in the LD converter. The gradient method, which is suitable for the optimization of multidimensional problems, was applied. An automated system was developed to optimize the input parameters of the selected technological process, which enables the selection of different variants of the objective function.
