Sub-carrier-User Allocation of Down-link MC-NOMA System with Three Users

Non-orthogonal multiple Access (NOMA) is a potential technique in next-generation mobile communication, primarily valued for its remarkable Spectral Efficiency (SE). The efficiency is achieved by employing advanced techniques like Su-perposition Coding (SC) and Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC), allowing several NOMA system users to share and utilize the same sub-channel. In this research, the Worst Sub-channel Gain-based User Allocation Algorithm (WSGUA) methods for the Multi-Carrier (MC) Down-Link (DL)-NOMA are presented to improve the SE with three users in each sub-carrier. The simulation results reveal that the WSGUA algorithm outperforms the conventional User Allocation Algorithm (UAA) regarding SE.
