Revolutionizing Education: Experimental Evaluation of Fully Immersive Virtual Reality based Educational Boosting System

This study investigates the effectiveness of a fully immersive VR-based educational boosting system in enhancing science education for middle school students. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a control group, the research aims to compare the outcomes of students receiving VR-enhanced instruction with those receiving traditional classroom instruction. The target population comprises middle school students aged 11-13 enrolled in science courses. The intervention involves a meticulously designed VR system offering interactive simulations, virtual experiments, and explanatory modules aligned with curriculum standards. The study's methodology includes pre- and post-testing to assess changes in students' knowledge and skills, as well as surveys to measure engagement and satisfaction. Data analysis encompasses quantitative techniques such as ANCOVA for comparing test scores between groups, supplemented by qualitative thematic analysis of survey responses. Preliminary results demonstrate significant improvements in knowledge acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction among students exposed to the VR intervention. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on VR-enhanced education, offering insights into its potential to transform science learning experiences and foster a deeper understanding of complex scientific concepts among middle school students.
